National Arts Club
Join a broad discussion with conceptual artist, independent curator, and writer Lee Wells on new technology, AI, and the human condition in the early twenty-first century. Present during this discussion will be video art bots Alice and Bob, which form part of his most recent immersive video art experiments that analyze the exchange between the viewer and the droids themselves. Mr. Wells’s art and projects question systems of power and control, and they have been exhibited internationally at festivals including the Fifty-first Venice Biennale, the Second Moscow Biennial, The Guggenheim Museum, NCCA Moscow, and PS1/MoMA. The program will also cover Wells’s upcoming book and his recent exhibitions in London, New York, and Athens.
